Full Steam Ahead
Do you know a responsible, organized, friendly, and energetic high school or college student looking for the perfect summer job? Good news! Full STEAM Ahead is hiring for our Exploration Facilitator position this summer. We have several weeks still available in Naples and Fort Myers. This position is open to anybody 16 years of age or older.
Our Exploration Facilitator is responsible for working with groups of up to 12 students on open-ended challenges and problems and helping/playing with kids during free exploration and lunch/snack breaks. No planning or prep is required, and no traditional teaching is expected. Just have fun with the kids, helping them stay focused, unlock their brain power, and enjoy their Full STEAM Ahead camps experience even more.
Hours
- 20 to 40 hours per week available
- 8:15am to 4:45pm
Weeks
Naples - July 8-12, July 15-19, July 22-26
Ft Myers - June 10-14, June 24-28, July 8-12, July 29-Aug 2
Pay
$12-15/hr
Responsibilities
- Lead "Explore" rotation (open-ended challenges, guided projects)
- Cleaning and organization
- Help students 1 on 1 during Free Explore
- Supervise students during lunch and outdoor play
- Banking STEAM Cents
- Help maintain materials and equipment
- Troubleshoot student tech problems
- Assist Lead Art and STEM teachers as needed
