Naples Botanical Garden has extended the enchanting Musical Swings exhibit featured on our April cover with the Botticelli family until May 27. Our cover kids had so much fun creating music with each other as we did our sunrise cover shoot early in March.
The installation, on-site in the Kapnick Caribbean Garden, invites people of all ages to participate in an unexpected and unforgettable creative performance. With its interactive soundtrack, visitors can create their own musical compositions.
Here's How Musical Swings Works:
- Each swing triggers notes from various classical instruments, including piano, guitar, harp, and vibraphone. To experience different sounds, switch to a new swing to "play" different instruments.
- The interactive soundtrack is pendulum-inspired. The higher the swing, the higher the note.
- When individuals work in unison, they generate a unique musical composition that showcases their collaborative efforts.
Included with Garden admission. This installation is created by Daily tous les jours.
