Do you have a preschooler who wants to get into the fun of decorating the Christmas tree? Here are 5 adorable Christmas trees perfect for your little one.
1. Felt Tree. Remember the fun felt boards of your childhood? This cute tree works just like that. A large "tree" cut from felt can be decorate with felt decorations. No sewing required–just cut the felt shapes and hot glue to make them more intricate. Preschoolers will decorate the tree over and over again.

2. Sticker Christmas Tree. Cut out a large free tree from construction paper and paste onto another large sheet of paper. Give the kids a package of holiday stickers and let them decorate their tree. Once they finish, hang it up for everyone to admire!

3. Popsicle Stick Tree. This one is better for children who are a little older who can handle smaller pieces. Cut popsicle sticks into graduated sizes and then glue to a center stick. Give your child small sequin shapes and let them glue onto the "branches." Tie a ribbon on the top and you have a pretty ornament.

4. Cardboard Christmas Tree. This tree takes a bit more effort on the part of mom and dad but the result is ell worth it. You'll need large sheets of cardboard, the templates found at the link below, a large ruler and a sharp crafts knife. Cut out the two trees, make slits and put together. Drape the tree with garland and your children can hang their handmade ornaments from the garland.

5. Christmas Strip Tree. Cut a variety of green patterned papers into thin strips. Your child can stack the strips into a tree shape and then add round ornaments (stickers or cut outs both work).
