Jurassic Quest North Fort Myers comes to the Lee County Civic Center Aug. 14-16, 2026, with dinosaurs, Ancient Oceans and the new Frozen Frontier exhibit. One admission provides access to all three prehistoric-themed experiences, plus shows and hands-on activities listed by the organizer.
For families in Lee and Collier Counties looking for an indoor weekend outing, the event combines animatronic dinosaurs, fossils, Ice Age animals and prehistoric marine life in one visit.
What can families see at Jurassic Quest North Fort Myers?
The main Jurassic Quest exhibit features life-size animatronic dinosaurs representing the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. Families also can see real fossils, including T. rex teeth and a Triceratops horn, according to the event organizer.
Children can take part in “The Quest,” a self-guided scavenger hunt that lets them explore the displays while learning about prehistoric life.
- Life-size moving dinosaurs
- Live dinosaur shows and baby dinosaur encounters
- Interactive fossil digs and STEAM activities
- Dinosaur rides and inflatables
- A Tricera-TOTs soft-play area for younger children
- Crafts, face painting and photo opportunities
What are Ancient Oceans and Frozen Frontier?
Ancient Oceans focuses on creatures that lived in prehistoric seas. Displays include Megalodon, marine reptiles, fossils and educational exhibits about ancient ocean ecosystems.
The new Frozen Frontier exhibit shifts the focus to the Ice Age. Families can see representations of woolly mammoths, saber-toothed cats, dire wolves, giant ground sloths, Irish elk, Paraceratherium and other prehistoric animals.
The organizer says Frozen Frontier is making its Florida debut at this event. That claim should be confirmed before publication.
Is there a sensory-friendly Jurassic Quest session?
Jurassic Quest plans a Sensory & Mobility Friendly Session on Saturday morning. The session is expected to include reduced lighting, lower sound levels, lighter crowds, and additional staff support.
