How does eating a Sizzle Dining meal help local children?
For every Sizzle Dining meal sold, the participating restaurant donates $1 to Blessings in a Backpack of Southwest Florida. The nonprofit provides food for food-insecure elementary school children on weekends and during the summer.
According to the event organizers, participating restaurants sold 87,483 Sizzle meals in 2025, resulting in an $87,483 donation. The fundraiser gives families a way to try local restaurants while contributing to a program serving children in the region.
