The mission of Neapolitan Family is to provide free regional and national editorial as well as advertising that pertains to parenting, local events and resources for families. As a team, the Neapolitan Family Magazine staff is committed to providing parents of infants through teens with information and resources to enhance all aspects of parenting and family life.
Approximately 12,000 copies of Neapolitan Family Magazine are distributed monthly to over 200 locations in Collier County making it is the most widely distributed and read family publication serving Collier County. We have been publishing for over 15 years to an ever-growing audience. Neapolitan Family Magazine is an award-winning member of Parenting Media of America (PPA), a national trade association of regional parenting publications.
Each year, Neapolitan Family sponsors numerous events and participates in a variety of community events. Our signature event is the Back to School Expo held each August in conjunction with the YMCA of the Palms.
THE STAFF OF NEAPOLITAN FAMILY
Co-Publisher Leigh Ann Newman has a degree in Journalism from The George Washington University and is a certified survival swimming instructor and owner of ABC Swim School. She has lived in Naples for more than 11 years and is the mother of one daughter.
Co-Publisher Stacy Nicolau has a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After working as a registered nurse for many years, she decided to return to her love of publications and began working for Neapolitan Family in 2011. She is the mother of 3 and has lived in Naples for over 16 years.
Cover photographer Peggy Farren has been a professional portrait, wedding and fashion photographer for 15 years. She has studied with some of the greatest photographers in the US. Peggy's enthusiastic personality and infectious laugh put her subjects at ease and the results are beautiful, natural portraits to cherish. Peggy is the mother of one son.
