The mission of the Conservancy of Southwest Florida is to protect the unique native creatures around us. No matter how small, each species has an important role to play in the larger ecosystem. With Florida being home to more than 133 threatened and endangered native wildlife species, our region is one of the most vulnerable wildlife habitats in the country.
On May 16, 2015, the Conservancy presents 2015 Endangered Species Day. Your family will enjoy special interactive activities to raise awareness about the endangered animals whose homes we share.
