The awards were given in recognition of the exceptional quality of the magazine's content and design, which have consistently provided insightful and informative articles for families in Southwest Florida.

The article “Putting Holocaust Education to the Test” (March 2023, by Andrea Stetson) won a Gold Award for Best News Feature and a Bronze Award for Layout Design (Leigh Ann Newman and Stacy Nicolau). Special Section “Hurricane Ian Devastates Southwest Florida” (November 2022) won a Gold Award for Best Interior Photography (Lisette Morales McCabe) and a Silver Award for Special Section in a Publication (editorial by Stacy Nicolau, Anna Snyder, Andrea Stetson, and design by Leigh Ann Newman).
